Does Your Chiropractic Office Have Great Customer Service?

I know, every doctor in the world is yelling at me, I hear them saying: ‘Oh Yes. without a doubt” and I must yell back to them: “As long as you are looking over their shoulder.”

It should be the number one goal to offer great service to our customers without a doubt. Every chiropractic office going tries to get this service train going and some achieve it. However, more fail that achieve it. Why? simple, in my opinion part of it is due to office burn out. That is, the office staff can not or does not re-act to stress well.

Is this the only reason, nope. There can be many reasons, perhaps the staff was never trained in customer service or has a limited understanding of the over all office goals. On the other hand, the office staff could be customer service orientated one hundred percent and moving forward toward the outlined goals. It is not for me to judge, my only job here is to get you to give better customer service in your office starting today!

The first thing about customer service or any office practice is simple. You can not correct what you do not know exists. For Example, if you do not know there is a problem, you can not correct it. So, you have to take a very close look at the office practice of customer service. Listen to what is being said and just take mental notes. Do not address the customer service issues – good or bad – in front of the patients or on the office floor. My idea is, save it for the staff meetings.

During the staff meetings you should do some role playing with the staff. ask them what they are saying and their reason behind what they say. remember, everything that happens in your office, at screenings and on the phone is all part of the over all marketing plan. It all starts with vision.

The first rule of customer service is what? Do you remember? The customer is always right. The second rule of is see rule number one. The Customer is always right.

Remember, nothing happens in your office or any office without a staff and patients. It may sound harsh but you can run an office without staff – I don’t recommend it however. On the other hand, try running the same office with no patients.

Patients come first and staff comes close behind these patients. So keep the office staff up to par and train them. Keep a ‘smile when you dial’ attitude when the patient calls in and when they walk through the door. Put these simple tips into your practice today.

Marketing For Chiropractors – Get More Patients With Ease

Here is an article of mark’s and it can be found here:

http://ezinearticles.com/?Marketing-For-Chiropractors—Get-More-Patients-With-Ease&id=3920857

It is easy to get more patients if you know how to market. The problem is, they don’t teach you everything in Chiropractic School. In this article we are going to take a closer look at Marketing for Chiropractors and how to get more patients with ease.

You can be the best Chiropractor in the world but if you have no one to adjust what good did all that schooling do for you or the world? I know that when you got into practice you had a goal to help people and later that goal turned into help as many people as you can. It is for that reason you need practical advice that helps you to get people into your office and on to your adjustment table.

If there are two things in the world I believe in, Chiropractics and marketing would be the top of my list. Okay, the first thing you need to know is that I know a lot about both of these. As a magician I learned to market and I have been a magician of a very successful chiropractic office for over fifteen years. Part of my job as a magician is to also play the part of marketing consultant. So, let’s get started.

First step in marketing is: Pick a Market. I know that sounds simple. Who are you going to market to? Is it people with back problems? People who have car accidents? People who play sports? Understand it can be all of these and your business can have many clients – Which brings us to number two.

2nd – You must start with one and get that group going and move on to the next group. One market at a time. In sales they call this: “sell the one your with. Now that you have a group of people – you know your target market (or one of them) You must build a list – so you find them and they find you.

3rd – You can find them many number of ways – Ads, person to person, cold calling, current patients, direct mail, post cards, you name it. Once you have found a method you like, try that method and add other methods after you get one started and have success with it or throw it out if it did not work for you.

4th – Develop your offer and marketing materials. Are you going to send them a post card? place an ad? write them a letter? Call them on the phone? What do you say? How do you say it?

5th – Develop your marketing plan – know who you want to bring into your office, how you are going to reach them, what offer you are going to give them.

Marketing is simple, once you know what you want.

Direct Marketing? Is it Worth the Time?

Here is an article Mark wrote and it can be found here:

http://ezinearticles.com/?Direct-Marketing?-Is-it-Worth-the-Time?&id=3964567

Many people are unsure when it comes to Direct Marketing. First, let’s look at what direct marketing is. It means, marketing directly to a customer. For example, using letter mailed to someone’s house is a form of direct mail.

You get these type of offers all the time. Why? because they work and are cost effective. The thing is, they have to be designed correctly and have a message to market match. You can have the greatest product in the world and if does not match your market’s wants and needs – the offer and letter will not work.

The truth is, your offer must hit the prospect seven or more times before it gets great results. The return on direct mail is about one percent. So if you mail 100 letters you should get one person who takes action and requests more information. There are a few things you can do to increase your rate to 2% or more.

The key is to develop your offer and make it so good that people want to know more. Make them stand up and say, I need to know about what this person, business etc is telling me. The offer is key. The headline is also important and so is the message to market match.

I will not get into too much on what the headline should say or how to write one or about the offer. I will however say this,The problem with direct mail is, not many people know how to use it correctly. Does direct mail work, yes, beyond a doubt. When you use it correctly, direct mail is well worth your time and money.

What Is Marketing?

What is Marketing?  According to Google…if you type in that question, here is what you get:

Definitions of marketing on the Web:

  • selling: the exchange of goods for an agreed sum of money
  • the commercial processes involved in promoting and selling and distributing a product or service; “most companies have a manager in charge of marketing”
  • shopping at a market; “does the weekly marketing at the supermarket”
    wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn
  • Marketing is a Canadian business magazine about marketing, advertising and media. The magazine is published bi-weekly by Rogers Media Inc.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing_(magazine)
  • Marketing is an integrated communications-based process through which individuals and communities discover that existing and newly-identified …
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing
  • Buying and selling in a market; The promotion, distribution and selling of a product or service; includes market research and advertising …
    en.wiktionary.org/wiki/marketing
  • market – the world of commercial activity where goods and services are bought and sold; “without competition there would be no market”; “they were driven …
  • market – engage in the commercial promotion, sale, or distribution of; “The company is marketing its new line of beauty products”
  • market – the customers for a particular product or service; “before they publish any book they try to determine the size of the market for it”
  • market – buy household supplies; “We go marketing every Saturday”
  • market – grocery store: a marketplace where groceries are sold; “the grocery store included a meat market”
  • market – deal in a market
  • market – the securities markets in the aggregate; “the market always frustrates the small investor”
  • market – commercialize: make commercial; “Some Amish people have commercialized their way of life”
  • market – marketplace: an area in a town where a public mercantile establishment is set up
    wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

Okay, I know that seems alittle over-kill. However, this is marketing – it goes hand in hand with selling. I know people hate that word selling – but if you think of Selling as simple TELLING others about your servic e, I think it will work better in your mind. See, marketing and sales go hand and hand but…they are not the same thing.  More on this later.

For now, lets say that marketing is a way to get others to understand your product or service better. We will touch on this more in the near future.
